This position serves as the operational backbone of the Montevideo Veterans Home. As the Business Office Manager, you will direct and supervise the employees and activities of the Business Office, ensuring that accounting, budgeting, payroll, procurement, and revenue cycle management functions are completed accurately and in a timely manner. You will establish and monitor internal controls to ensure all state and federal regulatory requirements are met, safeguarding the financial integrity of the home while supporting its mission to care for residents.

Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related area. Experience supervising accounting/finance staff and functions. Experience in government accounting. Knowledge of laws and regulations governing the fiscal operations of State agencies. State of Minnesota experience with contracts, SWIFT, SEMA4 or warehouse reporting. Experience applying provisions of collective bargaining agreements and/or compensation plans. Experience in a skilled nursing facility with knowledge of Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) rules for reimbursement and delivery of services, nursing home business operations or resident trust. Knowledge of federal Veterans Administration per diem for state Veterans' homes and/or MN Administrative Rule 9050 and other relevant statutes pertaining to Veterans' home finances.
