The Retirement Analyst serves as a vital support pillar for caregivers, participants, and retirees, managing the end-to-end processing of retirement-related transactions. Working under the direction of the Manager of Retirement Operations, this role acts as a subject matter expert and liaison across multiple functional areas, including pension plans, retiree welfare benefits, and defined contribution plans (401k, 403b, 457).
As a key resource for leadership and participants, the Analyst ensures the accurate administration of defined benefit and contribution plans while safeguarding Intermountain Retirement plan assets. The position requires navigating complex calculations, resolving discrepancies, and interpreting plan provisions to determine eligibility and process distributions. The Analyst also coordinates with Payroll, HRIS, Finance, external trustees, and auditors to ensure seamless data transfer and regulatory compliance.
This position is part of the Retirement Operations team, dedicated to fostering a sustainable culture of wellness for Intermountain Health's caregivers. By ensuring the integrity of retirement benefits, the team supports the organization's commitment to the mind, body, and spirit of its employees. The role is critical in maintaining trust and security for retirees and participants as they navigate their financial futures.
