Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDevelop and implement plans to increase profitability and reduce expenses
- check_circleExecute floor and front-end leadership activities including store open and close procedures
- check_circleEnsure execution of ad set and visual merchandising standards
- check_circleTrain and coach all store personnel in standard operating procedures and solution selling
- check_circleHandle human resource issues in accordance with guidelines and partner with HR managers
- check_circleAchieve store sales and profit objectives while managing payroll expenses
- check_circleIdentify and resolve store issues while communicating with District and Home Office
- check_circleManage freight flow, processing, and inventory control for company assets
- check_circleDirect staffing, hiring, training, and scheduling to ensure competent associates
Requirements
- verified7+ years of leadership experience in a major big box retailer
- verifiedExperience managing a store with 30,000+ square feet and 100+ employees
- verifiedExperience in consumer electronics industry preferred
- verifiedPrevious experience managing own store and all aspects of retail management
- verifiedExperience in human resources functions
- verifiedAbility to execute corporate initiatives and analyze competition
- verifiedCollege degree strongly preferred
Nice to Have
7+ years of leadership experience with a major big box retailer in a high-volume, 30,000+ square-foot store, with at least 100 employees and accountability for profit and loss, within the consumer electronics industry. A college degree.
