As a Shortage Control Associate, you play a pivotal role in creating a secure and enjoyable shopping environment for our customers. Your presence at store entrances, exits, and high-risk areas is essential for mitigating theft and ensuring the safety of both our assets and our community. You will serve as the first point of contact for every guest, delivering a confident, friendly, and energetic greeting that sets the tone for a positive shopping experience.
This role is about more than just monitoring; it is about building trust and respect among customers and associates. By exhibiting command presence and maintaining a high level of situational awareness, you will effectively reduce opportunities for shoplifting and dishonest activities. You will act as a valuable partner to store and field leadership, identifying and reporting suspicious behavior while fostering a culture of safety and security.
