About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Retail Assistant Store Manager to join our team and partner closely with the Store Manager to lead daily operations. This role is pivotal in maintaining a positive, productive atmosphere while driving financial goals and maximizing customer satisfaction. You will act as the manager on duty in the Store Manager's absence, setting the tone for a professional and welcoming environment.
In this position, you will analyze store financial statements, oversee inventory control, and manage loan qualification processes to ensure the integrity of all transactions. You will also play a key role in recruiting and developing top talent, ensuring our Pawnbrokers meet FirstCash standards. The role involves working with a diverse range of merchandise, including jewelry, electronics, tools, and firearms (in FFL locations), requiring a detail-oriented approach to asset protection and business growth.
Compensation & Benefits
This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $14.00 to $17.00 per hour, complemented by an easily achievable commission structure. Assistant Store Managers can earn unlimited commission based on productivity, with the potential to earn 2-8% on gross profit, which can average an additional $1.39 per hour on top of the base rate.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance options. Employees enjoy flexible working hours, with most stores operating from 9 AM to 6 PM and closed on Sundays. Additional perks include:
- Paid Time Off: One week of paid vacation after six months, increasing to two weeks after one year, with further accruals based on tenure.
