About the Role

We are seeking a Retail Account Manager to serve as a full-time brand ambassador for our Central Illinois territory. This role represents an excellent opportunity to grow professionally and financially while representing a legacy of excellence in the seed industry.

In this position, you will act as the primary link between Stine and our network of retail dealers. Your day-to-day involves visiting key retail locations (at least twenty per week), promoting Stine products to increase sales and brand awareness, and providing dealers with updated product data and agronomic insights. You will work closely with our seasoned leadership team and professional agronomy staff to develop recruitment plans for new dealers, set annual goals for key accounts, and oversee the creation of product training plots. Success in this role requires a blend of sales initiative, technical agronomic knowledge, and the ability to build strong, lasting relationships with retailers by understanding their unique needs and values.

Key Responsibilities

  • check_circlePromote Stine Seed Company to increase sales and brand awareness with retail dealers
  • check_circleDevelop and maintain thorough agronomic and technical knowledge of seed products
  • check_circleHelp develop annual sales goals for corn and soybeans at key retail locations
  • check_circleOrganize and participate in sales and agronomy training classes
  • check_circleProvide accurate reporting of account forecasts and sales performance
  • check_circleOversee the development of product training plots for corn and soybeans
  • check_circleCollect side-by-side corn and soybean yield data from retail locations
  • check_circlePromote the use of Stine XP soybean seed treatments at key retail accounts
  • check_circleCreate a list of key retail dealer prospects and develop a recruitment plan
  • check_circleConduct at least twenty on-site retail dealer visits per week
  • check_circleImplement sales training programs for key retail dealers
  • check_circleProvide dealers with updated product data, agronomic information, and promotional materials
