The Retail Account Manager serves as a full-time brand ambassador for Stine Seed Company, covering Central Illinois. This role is designed to help you grow professionally and financially while representing a legacy of excellence in the seed industry.
In this position, you will act as the primary link between Stine and our retail dealer network. Your day-to-day involves visiting key retail locations, performing at least twenty on-site dealer visits per week, and building strong relationships with retailers by understanding their needs and values. You will provide dealers with updated product data, agronomic insights, and promotional materials, while working alongside our professional agronomy staff to enhance your technical knowledge of Stine Seed and treatment products.
You will also play a key role in territory development by recruiting new retail prospects, developing annual sales goals for key locations, and collecting side-by-side yield data to support product training. Success in this role requires initiative, the ability to work with minimum supervision, and a proven track record of using sales techniques to overcome obstacles and achieve results.
To ensure you can succeed in the field, Stine provides a comprehensive suite of resources, including a company vehicle, laptop, company-issued purchasing card for business expenses, and a promotional budget. You will also have access to online resources for managing retail dealer and prospect data, as well as a seasoned leadership team to assist with your development.
