Chuy's - Purdue is seeking a dedicated Restaurant Line Cook to join our culinary team in Lafayette, IN. Whether you are available for full-time or part-time shifts, you will operate under the direction of our culinary management team to deliver the authentic flavors and presentation our guests expect.
In this role, you will be the heartbeat of the kitchen, executing all line station menu items to exact recipe and plate presentation specifications. Your day will involve ensuring every dish is produced in a safe and sanitary manner, adhering to strict production times while maintaining the high standards set by Chuy's. You will work collaboratively with your team to prioritize cooking times, accommodate guest special requests, and ensure timely delivery of meals.
Beyond the line, you will be responsible for setting up your station with necessary products and equipment before service, and meticulously cleaning and organizing your workspace and food storage areas at the end of your shift. Success in this position requires the physical stamina to stand for up to 10 hours and the ability to thrive in an environment with significant temperature changes and fast-paced deadlines.
