The Restaurant General Manager serves as the executive leader of the restaurant, driving success through a focus on profitability, guest satisfaction, people development, and operational excellence. Operating under the direction of the District Manager, this role holds overall responsibility for the daily operations of a single location, managing a team of 20 to 45 employees including Assistant Managers, Hourly Shift Managers, and Team Members.
As the leader of the restaurant, you will actively manage the P&L to drive financial outcomes while ensuring the facility remains clean and the service is accurate, friendly, and fast. Your day involves motivating the team to exceed guest expectations, solving guest feedback issues to address root causes, and engaging with the local community to execute marketing initiatives. You will lead recruitment, onboarding, and certification processes, while providing continuous coaching to raise the team's capabilities. Additionally, you will manage labor scheduling, enforce compliance with government regulations and brand standards, and step in to perform duties of Assistant Managers or Shift Managers as needed.
