The Restaurant General Manager (RGM) serves as the executive leader of a single restaurant, driving profitability, guest satisfaction, people development, and operational excellence. Reporting to the District Manager, the RGM holds overall responsibility for the daily operations of the location and directly manages a team of 20 to 45 employees, including Assistant Managers, Hourly Shift Coordinators, and Team Members.
As the face of the restaurant, you will actively manage the P&L to achieve desired financial outcomes while ensuring the facility remains clean, safe, and compliant with all government regulations and brand standards. Your day involves motivating the team to deliver accurate, friendly, and fast service, while simultaneously solving guest issues and implementing action plans based on feedback.
Beyond operations, you will lead the recruitment and selection process to build a high-performing team. This includes onboarding new members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback to Shift Coordinators and Assistant Managers, and managing recognition programs to inspire staff. You will also engage with the local community to drive sales and execute marketing initiatives.
