Evolve Adolescent Behavioral Health is dedicated to helping adolescents aged 12 to 17 who are struggling with mental health challenges, substance abuse, or behavioral issues. Our Ojai team operates a 6-bed teen residential treatment center, providing a safe and supportive environment where teens can heal and grow over a typical 45-60 day stay.
As a Residential Counselor, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, providing direct supervision and support to a small group of up to six adolescents. This role is designed for someone passionate about making a significant impact on the lives of teens and their families. You will facilitate groups, support clients through daily activities, and join them in experiential therapies such as hiking, surf therapy, equine therapy, and fitness groups.
This position is challenging yet deeply rewarding. You will model healthy communication, emotional regulation, and self-care while helping teens build independence through life skills like cooking, laundry, and personal space maintenance. It is an ideal opportunity for those interested in pursuing a degree in the mental health or social services field, offering a unique blend of clinical support and community living.
We are looking for candidates who are patient, dedicated, and flexible enough to adjust to the ever-changing nature of residential treatment. If you are ready to join a team that values emotional well-being and professional growth, we invite you to apply.
