Emory University is a leading research university dedicated to fostering excellence and attracting world-class talent to innovate for today and prepare leaders for the future. We welcome candidates who are eager to contribute to the vibrancy and excellence of our academic community.
As a bench scientist within the School of Medicine, you will play a pivotal role in advancing biochemical and cell-based research. Your primary focus will be developing and executing assays to perform high-throughput screening of small molecule libraries, as well as conducting lower-throughput assays for the structural optimization of hit compounds. This position requires close collaboration with biomedical investigators and medicinal chemists to drive discovery efforts forward. In this hands-on capacity, you may also have the opportunity to supervise staff and manage related laboratory responsibilities.
This role is primarily performed in-person at the Emory Campus-Clifton Corridor in Atlanta, GA, as it involves essential laboratory work. While the position is based on campus, remote work options may be granted at the discretion of the department, subject to change with notice.
Interested candidates are encouraged to connect with the university for general consideration. Please note that this is a regular full-time position within the Laboratory Research category.
