Emory University is a leading research university dedicated to fostering excellence and attracting world-class talent to innovate for the future. The Pak Research Group within the School of Nursing seeks a highly motivated Research Scientist to join a dynamic team focused on data analytics, scientific writing, and translational sleep research.
This temporary appointment is designed for a recent PhD graduate or early-stage postdoctoral researcher eager to gain experience in high-impact publication development and NIH-funded translational research. The role serves as a bridge between data science and bench science, requiring a hybrid skillset.

This includes performing high-throughput screening of small molecule libraries and conducting structural optimization. As a hands-on bench scientist, you will communicate closely with biomedical investigators and medicinal chemists, potentially supervising staff. Your contributions will be substantial in preparing manuscripts, abstracts, conference presentations, and grant-related materials, ensuring the translation of research findings into peer-reviewed publications.
