Under the direction of the Branch Manager or Field Leader, the Mobile Examiner serves as a vital field presence, ensuring mobile exams are completed accurately and on time. This role is designed to maintain a safe and professional environment for applicants, clients, and employees while performing all aspects of an insurance exam with confidence.
The Mobile Examiner acts as both a practitioner and a resource, conducting in-center and mobile exams that include taking basic vitals, medical histories, venipuncture, urine collection, and EKGs. Beyond specimen collection for pre-employment drug screenings and other Quest Diagnostics services, the role involves managing the entire workflow from application processing to specimen transport. The position requires flexibility, with travel within a 25-mile radius and adaptable work hours to meet staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, and occasional on-call duties.
In addition to clinical duties, the Mobile Examiner plays a key role in team development. Experienced staff may be required to act as a coach, mentor, and instructor for new employees who have completed the phlebotomy training program, providing support on department protocols and practices.
