At Takeda, we are transforming patient care through the development of novel specialty pharmaceuticals and best-in-class patient support programs. As a patient-focused company, we inspire and empower our teams to grow through life-changing work. Certified as a Global Top Employer, we foster an inclusive, collaborative workplace united by an unwavering commitment to provide Better Health and a Brighter Future to people around the world.
BioLife, a part of Takeda, is dedicated to creating meaningful part-time opportunities for our team. We understand that flexibility matters, especially for those balancing multiple commitments. Our Plasma Donation Centers rely on the reliability of our team members to collect the plasma that becomes life-changing medicines for patients with rare diseases.
This role is truly part-time, with most shifts lasting 4 to 6 hours per day, 3 or more days per week, designed to fit your life. Whether you are looking for extra income, a way to gain valuable experience, or a schedule that accommodates your busy life, BioLife welcomes part-time team members just like you.
As a Plasma Donor Screener, you will report to the Plasma Center Manager and perform phlebotomy to support plasma center operations. Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. You will answer phones, greet donors, and focus on their safety while ensuring the safety of the team. Your work involves screening new and repeat donors, taking and recording vital signs and finger stick results, and maintaining accurate records using our Donor Information System.
We value open communication and will confirm your availability, shift days, and times early in the interview process. You will be informed in advance of any schedule changes. While your reliability during scheduled hours is greatly valued because our patients depend on the plasma we collect, our part-time roles are designed with the understanding that flexibility on both sides is important.
