Located in Seneca Falls, this part-time position within the Phlebotomy department serves as a vital link in providing quality, inclusive, patient-centered healthcare. Beyond collecting and processing laboratory specimens, this role is dedicated to the growth and development of the team. You will oversee all aspects of Phlebotomy Staff training, providing technical expertise to enhance departmental operations.
In this capacity, you will not only perform home draws and services at Patient Service Centers, Clinics, and Nursing Homes but also coordinate program maintenance, orientation, and the direction of in-house trainers. You will evaluate training progress, assess staff competency, and ensure the department maintains technical readiness to meet regulatory compliance standards for New York State, CAP, and other agencies. Your work will directly contribute to a positive team environment and the continuous improvement of work processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
