The Medical Assistant serves as the first contact for patient care within our caring community. This role is responsible for a blend of administrative tasks and direct patient support, performing varied activities and moderately complex assignments to ensure the smooth operation of the Center. You will report to the Center Administrator and play a vital part in our mission to deliver high-quality, accessible, and comprehensive healthcare.
In this patient-facing position, you will be the face of our clinic, ensuring that every interaction reflects our commitment to compassionate care. The role involves managing the flow of patient visits, documenting symptoms in the EMR, and performing essential clinical duties such as taking vital signs, administering injections, and collecting specimens. You will help maintain a sterile and organized environment, ensuring examination rooms are ready for every patient. This position is integral to our Tuberculosis (TB) screening program and requires a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.

Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (Arizona, Indiana, & South Carolina candidates require Medical Assistant Certification or Registration). 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience. Value Based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience.
