The Medical Assistant serves as the first point of contact for patient care within our caring community. This role blends administrative responsibilities with clinical duties, ensuring a smooth and compassionate patient experience. You will perform varied activities, including documenting patient symptoms in the EMR, taking vital signs, administering injections, performing diagnostic tests, and collecting specimens. Additionally, you will maintain examination rooms and sterilize equipment, reporting directly to the Center Administrator.
This position is patient-facing and plays a vital role in our integrated care model. You will be part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program, and successful candidates will undergo this screening. The role operates Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with local travel potentially required (mileage reimbursed).

Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (Arizona, Indiana, & South Carolina candidates require Medical Assistant Certification or Registration). 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience. Value Based Care experience including knowledge of HEDIS, CPT/ICD coding, and CAHPS/HOS Patient Experience. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (must pass proficiency exam prior to foreign language communication).
