The Relationship Banker serves as a trusted advisor, engaging clients in meaningful, consultative conversations to understand their financial goals and align on solutions that meet their unique needs. This role is designed to drive growth by actively promoting and selling the bank's products and services while deepening client relationships through excellent service and personalized advice.
In this position, you will handle the most complex assignments within the banking center. Your day-to-day involves guiding clients through deposit and loan options, opening accounts, and taking loan applications with a focus on deposit accounts, loans, lines of credit, and referrals to specialized lines of business such as mortgage, wealth, and private client services. You will also support the teller line to minimize customer wait times, resolve client issues promptly, and assist in training new associates. Success in this role requires a proactive approach to client outreach and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of compliance and operational efficiency.
As part of the employment process, all candidates must complete the DeGarmo Retail Behavioral Assessment, which takes approximately 12-15 minutes. Assessment results must be submitted prior to having your application evaluated by Talent Acquisition. Additionally, this position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations; ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements, including a background credit check.
