This position serves as the strategic leader for a banking center, responsible for the overall sales, production, profitability, and regulatory compliance of the branch. The role exists to ensure the banking center delivers quality, accurate, and timely customer service while driving business growth in the local market.
As the Banking Center Manager, you will coach and lead a high-performing team to execute strategic initiatives and model the First Horizon culture. Your day-to-day involves implementing an advice-driven sales process, nurturing relationships with key clients and partners, and proactively expanding the market base through networking and community engagement. You will foster a collaborative and inclusive environment, providing regular coaching and feedback to associates while mentoring less experienced managers.
Beyond sales and team leadership, you will ensure operational excellence by monitoring metrics, controlling expenses, and collaborating with market operations to address concerns. A critical part of this role is maintaining strict compliance with bank regulations, risk management practices, and the First Horizon code of ethics, ensuring all team members complete required training.
To be considered for this position, candidates must complete the DeGarmo Retail Behavioral Assessment as part of the employment process. This assessment takes approximately 12-15 minutes and must be submitted prior to having your application evaluated by Talent Acquisition.
Successful candidates will also need to meet the requirements of a background credit check. This position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations; ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting these requirements.
