This position serves as a vital support pillar within our Rehabilitation Outpatient department, bridging the gap between clinical expertise and operational efficiency. You will work alongside physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists to deliver comprehensive therapy services to a diverse patient population ranging from neonates to geriatric adults.
The role is a dynamic blend of direct patient support, administrative coordination, and facility maintenance. On the clinical side, you will assist with therapy interventions, wound management, and equipment fitting, ensuring patients receive timely and safe care. You will also take on critical administrative duties, including data entry, scheduling, and inventory management, while maintaining a clean and compliant environment through rigorous cleaning protocols and temperature log monitoring.
We are committed to patient safety and continuous improvement. In this role, you are empowered to take a proactive approach to safety by questioning processes, identifying environmental risks, and encouraging patients to actively participate in their own care. Our team values collaboration, requiring you to communicate effectively with providers, nursing staff, and care management to facilitate highly coordinated treatment plans.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent. While no prior experience is required, a commitment to learning and a background in healthcare is beneficial. Successful candidates must obtain CPR for Healthcare/BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
