As a Regulatory Specialist III Team Lead within the Bureau of Health Care Practitioner Regulation and the Board of Medicine, you will serve as a critical operational anchor for our regulatory activities. This role requires independent judgment and initiative to ensure the Board functions smoothly and effectively.
In this position, you will coordinate the development and finalization of agendas for Board and Committee meetings, managing the complex logistics of scheduling panels and notifying all relevant parties, including Prosecutive Services and Board Counsel. You will act as the Board's 'Travel Champion' and purchasing subject matter expert, streamlining processes for board member travel and office procurement while training new staff on these systems.
Your day-to-day impact involves reviewing licensee materials to ensure strict adherence to mandatory notification timeframes and preparing legal notices for the Florida Administrative Weekly. You will also manage the preparation of meeting minutes, finalize fact sheets for Attorney General orders, and maintain the yearly calendar of Board and Committee deadlines. As a back-up administrator for conference calls, you will ensure the security and privacy of sensitive discussions.
This is a fully on-site position based in the Southwood area of Tallahassee, located in the Capital Circle Office Complex at 4042 Bald Cypress Way. Employees are required to work from the Tallahassee office five days per week with no regular telework or remote options.
