About the Role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Short Stay unit to join our healthcare family. In this role, you will be an integral member of a dynamic interdisciplinary team, working alongside providers, surgeons, and surgical technologists to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Your day will involve evaluating patients prior to surgery, managing evidence-based practices, and applying critical thinking to independently deliver safe nursing care.

You will take responsibility for patient preparation, including intravenous therapy and preoperative medications, while ensuring surgical site verification through strict adherence to universal protocols. A key part of your day involves educating patients and families about procedures, medical conditions, and follow-up measures. You will also participate in rounding with unit leaders to ensure your voice is heard regarding patient care and workflow improvements. This position requires self/preferential scheduling posted four weeks in advance and includes on-call duties during select non-business hours.
