In the Operating Room, you will be an integral member of a dynamic interdisciplinary team consisting of providers, surgeons, and surgical technologists. You will evaluate patients prior to surgery, assume responsibility for patient preparation including intravenous therapy and surgical site verification, and participate in universal protocols such as briefings and time-outs. Your day will involve assessing patient conditions, monitoring throughout your shift, and documenting changes thoroughly. You will also provide high-quality, patient-centered care by educating patients and families about procedures, medical conditions, and follow-up measures.
