About the Role

This Registered Nurse position is part of our L&D unit, operating on a 72-hour schedule over a 2-week rotation. The role involves 12-hour shifts that rotate between days, nights, weekends, and holidays, including every third weekend and holiday call.

In this role, you will deliver comprehensive nursing care by developing nursing diagnoses, establishing care objectives, and defining interventions. You will provide physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and friends, helping them understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Your day will involve reviewing physician prescriptions, coordinating with the healthcare team, and conferring with physicians to ensure seamless care. You will also be responsible for teaching patients and families, evaluating care outcomes against therapeutic standards, and maintaining a safe, secure environment by adhering to infection-control policies and legal regulations.
