About the Role

As a Registered Nurse at Avera, you will be the cornerstone of patient care, delivering a holistic approach that addresses physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs. Your day will involve developing comprehensive nursing diagnoses and care plans, coordinating closely with physicians and the broader healthcare team, and providing critical support to patients and their families. You will be responsible for educating patients on their conditions, medications, and self-care skills, while continuously evaluating and adjusting care objectives to ensure the best possible outcomes. Beyond clinical duties, you will maintain a safe and secure environment by adhering to strict infection-control policies, medication protocols, and safety regulations, ensuring that equipment and supplies are always ready for use.
