About the Role

This position is based at Avera Oahe Manor, where you will deliver comprehensive nursing care to residents. You will develop nursing diagnoses, establish care objectives, and define interventions while providing physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to residents, families, and friends. Your role involves understanding resident conditions and medications, noting changing needs, and re-evaluating care plans to ensure the highest quality of life.

In this capacity, you will coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers, while directing the workflow of nursing assistants and other nursing personnel. You will maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to infection-control policies, medication administration procedures, and legal regulations. Additionally, you will teach healthcare requirements by instructing residents and families on self-care skills and managing the availability of necessary supplies and equipment.
