About the Role
At Avera Mary House, you will serve as a Registered Nurse delivering comprehensive nursing care to residents. This role is designed to bridge clinical expertise with deep human connection. You will develop nursing diagnoses and care objectives while providing physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to residents, their families, and friends.
Your day will involve reviewing physician prescriptions, coordinating with the broader healthcare team, and conferring with physicians to ensure seamless care. You will teach residents and families about conditions, medications, and self-care skills, while continuously evaluating care plans to adapt to changing needs. Additionally, you will direct the workflow of nursing assistants, maintain a safe and secure environment by adhering to infection-control policies and regulations, and manage the logistics of admissions, discharges, and transfers.
Position Highlights
- Location: Avera Mary House
- Shift: Night Shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM and 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
- Schedule: 64 hours per 2 weeks
- Incentives: Eligible for up to a $12,000 sign-on bonus and a $2,500 relocation bonus.

Requirements
