Join the Avera Ear, Nose & Throat team in Sioux Falls, where we are dedicated to moving health forward with compassion. This role is embedded within a multidisciplinary group focused on delivering exceptional care to patients with head and neck conditions. You will work closely with Dr. Spanos and dedicated head and neck navigators to support patients through their diagnostic and treatment journeys.
This position serves as a vital link between patients, physicians, and the broader healthcare team. Whether as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide professional nursing care under the direction of the provider, ensuring a seamless experience for every patient. Your day will involve administering medications, assisting with procedures and examinations, and managing the flow of the clinic to prioritize emergency needs.
Beyond clinical duties, you will act as an educator, guiding patients and families through diagnostic processes, medication management, and wellness maintenance. You will also be responsible for maintaining exam room readiness, ensuring cleanliness, and managing the accurate labeling and testing of pathology specimens.
