About the Team

The Avera Behavioral Health Adult C Unit is a 26-bed facility designed to provide a structured, therapeutic environment for adults. Our multidisciplinary team is built on compassion with a shared goal of "Moving Health Forward." We are dedicated to helping patients understand their diagnoses, develop Crisis Response Plans, utilize healthy coping skills, and achieve their personal goals.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse on the Adult C Unit, you will join a positive, energizing team of over 60 coworkers. This role is ideal for nurses who enjoy patient-focused care, possess a passion for treating Anxiety, Depression, Personality Disorders, and Suicidal behavior, and value autonomous professional practice. You will work in an active, challenging environment that requires critical thinking to deliver high-quality care.

You will partner with physicians and the healthcare team to develop nursing diagnoses, establish care objectives, and provide physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and their families. The unit offers a flexible 72-hour/2-week schedule with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:7-8, allowing you to make a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve.
