About the Unit
R5 specializes in Oncology and End of Life care, working closely with the on-site Palliative care team. Our scope of practice includes symptom management, radiation support, chemotherapy administration (IV and oral), medication side effect management, and handling oncological emergencies.
We are committed to your professional growth and safety. New team members are not required to hang IV chemotherapy for the first six months to one year. Once you become comfortable with the R5 population, we provide specialized training in chemo administration. We maintain a culture where nurses truly have a voice through shared governance, and we have made significant investments in safe patient handling and mobility equipment to ensure you and our patients are supported.
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a Full Time (36 hours/week) Night Shift position on R5. This role is designed for nurses who wish to specialize in oncology care within a supportive environment that prioritizes great patient ratios and professional development. We offer structured preceptorships and continuing education to help you thrive.
