The Ortho Surgery RN Program Coordinator is a pioneering leadership opportunity within Lutheran Hospital's brand-new department. As one of the first leaders on the team, you will join a creative, hardworking, and close-knit group of Surgeons and Ortho OR RN professionals. This role exists to coordinate activities between patient care areas and other departments, ensuring the delivery of safe, appropriate, and innovative patient care for a specific shift.
You will bring your body, mind, heart, and spirit to your work, staying organized and moving fast while responding calmly in high-pressure situations. You are generous with your thoughts and partnerships, driven by a passion for patient care and a belief that while individuals can be strong, the right team is invincible.
Your day involves supervising, leading, and role-modeling for personnel engaged in providing excellent patient-focused care. You will serve as a clinical resource, mentor, and leadership figure, supporting associates in resolving issues and participating in performance improvement activities. You will partner with physician leaders to create a culture of commitment to patient-focused service, innovation, and integrity, while overseeing training and ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and regulations.
