Lutheran Hospital has served the Wheat Ridge and surrounding communities for over 100 years. Evolving from humble beginnings as a tuberculosis sanitarium, it is now one of the country's best hospitals, holding Level II trauma designation and Magnet status for nursing excellence. Our Operating Room features 9 surgical suites, including a heart room and a cystoscopy room. Main specialties include OB-GYN, Orthopedics (our largest service line), General Surgery, Cardiac, Neuro, ENT, Urology, Plastics, and Podiatry. We are also proud to be a Heart and Neurovascular Center, an accredited Chest Pain Center, and a Comprehensive Stroke Center. The Ortho Surgery RN Program Coordinator will be one of the first leaders on a brand-new department team. You will join a creative, hardworking, close-knit group of Surgeons and Ortho OR RN professionals, helping to shape the future of this exciting new unit.

About the Role

As an Ortho Surgery RN Program Coordinator, you will bring your body, mind, heart, and spirit to your work. Your day will involve supervising, leading, and coordinating the activities of personnel to ensure excellent, patient-focused care. You will serve as a role model, mentor, and clinical resource for the assigned area, supporting associates in resolving patient and unit issues. You will participate in leadership roles for performance improvement, new initiatives, and the interviewing and selection of personnel. Additionally, you will oversee training to ensure compliance with all policies, laws, and accreditation standards, while partnering with physician leaders to create a culture of commitment, innovation, and integrity.
