About the Role

This Registered Nurse OR PRN position offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic interdisciplinary team where your voice matters. We foster a culture of mutual respect and collaboration among all surgical staff, ensuring you are an integral part of the provider, surgeon, and surgical technologist team.

In this role, you will evaluate patients prior to surgery, manage intravenous therapy and preoperative medications, and ensure surgical site verification according to hospital policy. You will be responsible for assessing patient conditions, monitoring shifts, and documenting care thoroughly while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. The position involves educating patients and families about procedures and follow-up measures, as well as recognizing and responding to patient emergencies.

We prioritize your professional growth and work-life balance with self-preferential scheduling posted four weeks in advance. You will have the opportunity to round with unit leaders, including charge nurses, to share suggestions for patient care and surgical workflow improvement.
