The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. This role utilizes the nursing process through technology, therapeutic intervention, and evidence-based practice, coordinating closely with interdisciplinary health team members.
We invite new graduates to begin their nursing career with confidence through our comprehensive Nurse Residency Program. Designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and clinical practice, this program offers structured training, hands-on experience, and dedicated mentorship. Residents will complete orientation across all Medical-Surgical units—including Neuro-Trauma, Orthopedic, Observation, Cardiovascular, Medical Oncology, and Medical Units—gaining broad clinical exposure in a supportive, mission-driven environment.
After successfully completing orientation and demonstrating the ability to safely care for higher-acuity patients, there may be opportunities to discuss cross-training into specialty departments as the nurse grows within the role. Resource Pool RNs receive a 10% float differential in recognition of their flexibility and clinical expertise.
Billings isn't just a place to work—it's a place to thrive. Known as the "Magic City" for its rapid growth, Billings is Montana's largest city and a vibrant hub of culture, nature, and opportunity.
This position is currently scheduled to open for hiring at the end of August or the beginning of September. We are seeking New Grad RNs (less than one year of experience) to join our team at St. Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, Montana.
