About the Team
Our Inpatient Psychiatric unit is a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing acute mental health care. We operate two specialized locked units: a 16-bed unit serving both voluntary and involuntary individuals, and a 12-bed unit designed primarily for voluntary patients requiring acute care. Our Registered Nurses are integral to the treatment process, actively participating in treatment plans, rounds, psychiatric assessments, and medical/surgical care. The team includes MHT/LNAs, Providers, Social Workers/Case Managers, and Group Therapists. We foster a culture where nurses are trained to cover Charge RN roles and serve as preceptors, ensuring a supportive environment for professional growth and shared governance.
