About the Role
The High Intensity Care Unit (HICU) at Levindale Hospital provides advanced care for patients recovering from acute brain injuries, respiratory failure, and other complex conditions. This unit features 20 semi-private rooms capable of supporting up to 40 high-acuity patients. The HICU operates as an interdisciplinary team, bringing together nursing, respiratory therapy, rehabilitation, pharmacy, social work, and nutrition to focus on recovery, early intervention, and family-centered care.
As a Registered Nurse in this unit, you will join a team that values innovation and outcomes, delivering life-saving care to some of the most vulnerable patients. You will work in a supportive environment designed to foster professional growth through the Nursing Clinical Ladder, offering opportunities for tuition reimbursement and developing foundational skills for neonatal critical care leadership and advanced certification.
