This Registered Nurse position is part of our innovative nursing compensation model, which rewards experience, education, and dedication to the organization. The role is designed to support professional nursing practice across the continuum of care, ensuring the needs of patients and families are met through the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model.
You will function within a team environment, providing leadership through preceptor roles, informal and formal leadership activities, and quality improvement efforts. The role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to mentor and teach, and the capacity to adapt to unpredictable situations within the work setting. A subset of employees may be required to drive their personal vehicle as part of their responsibilities.
This specific position is a seasonal role running from October to March (6 months), featuring 12-hour night shifts with a minimum of two shifts per week. Weekend and holiday availability is not required. This role is eligible for TN sponsorship.
