The Clinical Nurse serves as a vital member of the SEARHC team, coordinating and delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients of all ages. This position requires a high degree of professional judgment, as clinical decisions are made independently during scheduled shifts while maintaining complete accountability for all actions taken. The role is designed for a nurse who can work autonomously, yet effectively collaborate with physicians, ancillary departments, and the broader healthcare team to ensure safe, therapeutic, and efficient care.
In this capacity, you will manage the full spectrum of patient needs, from routine assessments to emergent situations requiring calm, sound judgment. You will be responsible for the delegation and supervision of CNAs and Techs, ensuring that care plans are individualized, goal-oriented, and grounded in scientific principles. The role involves anticipating potential problems, adapting to changes in patient status, and initiating actions to mitigate risks. Beyond clinical duties, you will play a key educational role, teaching patients and families about disease processes, coping mechanisms, and discharge instructions to promote optimal health and understanding.
This position upholds the SEARHC Seven Standards of Excellence, focusing on providing culturally competent and high-quality care to diverse populations. The team operates with a mission to support individuals and families through multisystem diseases and treatment complications, utilizing appropriate infection control measures and evidence-based practices.
