The Trauma Program Manager/Trauma Process Improvement and Safety Nurse operates under the direction of the Director of Emergency Services and collaborates closely with the Trauma Medical Director(s). This role is pivotal in organizing the services and systems necessary for a multidisciplinary approach to the care of injured patients. You will partner with leadership to carry out the educational, clinical, research, administrative, and outreach activities of the trauma program.
In this position, you will monitor all aspects of trauma care to ensure guidelines and protocols are consistently met. You will identify opportunities for improvement and manage the performance improvement program, ensuring compliance with Riverside County Trauma Center Standards, The Joint Commission, and American College of Surgeons standards. Your day-to-day impact involves coordinating clinical processes, maintaining the hospital trauma registry, and conducting audits to drive patient safety and quality of care.

Master's degree. Previous trauma program management experience. Knowledge of trauma statistical reports, peer review, and performance improvement. Experience with improvement and injury prevention, and epidemiology. Ability to create and make data presentations to groups with varied needs. Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Skills: Hipaa, BLS, Acls, Pals, TNCC, TCRN, PHTLS, CSTR, Caiss, Microsoft Office.
Education: Bachelors degree in Nursing required; Masters degree preferred.
