Registered Nurse (RN) - Manager, Trauma

About the Role

Tenet Desert is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Manager, Trauma to lead critical initiatives at JFK Memorial Hospital in La Quinta, California. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the bridge between clinical excellence and administrative oversight, ensuring the hospital maintains its status as a Level II Trauma Center.

Working under the direction of the Director of Emergency Services and in close collaboration with the Trauma Medical Director, you will organize the systems necessary for a multidisciplinary approach to injured patient care. This position is designed for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, capable of managing complex performance improvement programs while fostering a culture of teamwork and positive customer service.

Your day-to-day impact involves monitoring all aspects of trauma care to ensure consistency with established guidelines and protocols. You will identify opportunities for improvement, manage the performance improvement program, and serve as a liaison between administration and clinical staff. Beyond clinical oversight, you will actively represent the hospital in community activities, county EMS meetings, and state-wide functions, promoting trauma education and prevention to the broader community.
