The Registered Nurse (RN) serves as a pivotal professional caregiver within our outpatient clinic setting, working under the direction of physicians to deliver high-quality ambulatory care. This role is designed for a nurse who utilizes the nursing process, integrating technology, therapeutic interventions, and evidence-based practices to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. As a key member of the care delivery team, the Clinic RN coordinates with other health professionals to address the specialized needs of patients in an acute and chronic care environment.
In this position, you will prioritize and triage care delivery, execute standing orders and protocols, and perform procedures consistent with your training and licensure. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve obtaining patient consent, documenting health histories and vital signs, administering medications, and educating patients and families on health maintenance and condition management. You will also participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve care processes and track quality assurance data, ensuring that every interaction upholds the mission, vision, and values of SCL Health.
