The Urgent Care Registered Nurse serves as an integral member of the healthcare team within a fast-paced, high-acuity environment that functions similarly to a free-standing emergency department. This role is designed to provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population ranging from neonates to geriatrics, addressing a wide spectrum of chief complaints including neurological, cardiac, and minor injury or illness cases.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with providers and Urgent Care staff to deliver high-quality, emergent, and urgent care. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve utilizing critical thinking and clinical judgment to quickly prioritize patient needs, oversee patient assessments, and formulate individualized care plans. You will coordinate and facilitate healthcare services across different segments of the delivery system, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care for patients requiring hospitalization or specialized services.
