About the Role
The Nurse Educator serves as an expert in industry education standards, dedicated to supporting and guiding caregivers in their self-improvement and professional development. Acting as a resource, consultant, and mentor under the direction of the Education Manager, this role fosters self-reliance and builds a cohesive social team among caregivers and clinical coaches.
In this capacity, you will assess, guide, coordinate, and evaluate the orientation and ongoing learning needs of caregivers, ensuring alignment with their specific program, service, or care group. The position extends beyond internal education; you will provide clinical expertise to patients, families, and healthcare professionals, utilizing the nursing process to facilitate a positive learning environment. A key component of this role involves providing Diabetes education to pediatric diabetes admissions at St. Vincent Hospital prior to discharge, followed by clinic follow-up.
This is a full-time position (36 budgeted hours) based in Billings, Montana, with a schedule of Monday through Thursday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm. The role may require travel to various locations to perform work duties.

Requirements
