The Registered Nurse (RN) serves as a pivotal professional caregiver within the outpatient clinic setting, assuming full responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. Working under the direction of physicians, Clinic RNs utilize the nursing process, technology, and evidence-based practice to coordinate care with the broader health team. This role is essential for delivering specialized ambulatory care, focusing on prioritization, triage, and the execution of established protocols and therapeutic interventions.
In this position, you will support the Holy Rosary OB/GYN Clinics and the General Surgery Clinic in Miles City, Montana. Your day-to-day responsibilities include performing general nursing care, obtaining patient consent, documenting health histories and vital signs, and administering prescribed treatments and medications. You will also play a key role in patient education, helping families manage acute and chronic conditions, while participating in multidisciplinary teams to improve care processes and outcomes.
Specific duties for this role include assisting with provider results, supporting lactation consultations, and providing wound care services. The position requires a blend of clinical expertise and compassionate care, ensuring patients receive high-quality support in a busy, equipment-rich environment.
This is a full-time position based at Holy Rosary Hospital in Miles City, Montana. The role offers flexible scheduling options, allowing caregivers to work either five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week.
