About the Role

This position serves as a Registered Nurse within the Hematology Clinic at the UCHealth Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion in Aurora, Colorado. The role provides direct patient care in a medical/physician office setting, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. The position requires critical thinking and decisive judgment to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

As an onsite role, the nurse will collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and spiritual or psychosocial support. A key aspect of the role involves evaluating the learning needs of patients and families to provide appropriate education based on age, culture, and condition. The nurse may also delegate care to ancillary personnel and precept student nurses and new hires.
