- check_circleAdminister medications and treatments while monitoring for effectiveness and adverse reactions
- check_circleCollaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
- check_circleEducate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
- check_circleMonitor neurological status and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
- check_circleDocument care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
- check_circleMaintain patient safety, infection control, and quality standards
- check_circlePrecept or mentor new nurses as needed
- check_circleParticipate in continuous professional development and unit-based quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- verifiedCurrent RN license in state of practice
- verifiedBLS certification
- verifiedACLS preferred or obtained within hire timeframe
- verifiedNeurology or critical care certification preferred
- verifiedPrevious acute care/neurology experience
Nice to Have
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification or obtained within hire timeframe. Neurology or critical care certification (e.g., CCRN, SCRN). Previous acute care/neurology experience.
