Key Responsibilities
- check_circleAssess patients and evaluate care plans including documentation of nursing care
- check_circleReview and report diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions
- check_circleConsult with physicians and healthcare professionals to plan and evaluate patient care
- check_circlePrepare patients for and assist with examinations, procedures, and treatments
- check_circleAdminister medications and perform patient tests within the scope of practice
- check_circleMaintain accurate records related to medications and treatments per regulatory guidelines
- check_circleAssist in discharge planning using available resources
- check_circleOperate medical equipment safely and adhere to all unit policies and procedures
- check_circleModify patient treatment plans based on patient responses and physician orders
- check_circleCommunicate care plans to patients, families, and team members ensuring HIPAA compliance
- check_circleServe as a preceptor to assist new staff in acclimating to the healthcare environment
Requirements
