The Registered Nurse 2 - Specialty role is designed to deliver patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner. You will utilize evidence-based standards of quality, safety, and service while ensuring population-specific patient care. This position goes beyond direct care; you will oversee nurses and allied health staff in their daily practice, serving as a preceptor to help new staff acclimate to the healthcare environment. Your day will involve assessing patients, modifying treatment plans based on their responses, and collaborating with physicians to implement comprehensive care strategies. You will nurture a compassionate environment by providing psychological support and ensuring accurate documentation and communication with patients, families, and team members.
