About the Role

As an RN at Ascension, you will be at the forefront of patient care, managing the full spectrum of nursing responsibilities in alignment with established policies and protocols. Your day will involve monitoring and documenting patient conditions, administering prescribed medications and treatments, and implementing comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's physical capabilities.

Beyond clinical duties, you will play a vital role in patient education, guiding individuals and their families on illness management, wellness, and preventive healthcare. You will also coordinate discharge planning with the broader healthcare team and provide mentorship to less-experienced staff members. This role requires the ability to navigate complex, critical situations with strong analytical skills, making decisive choices under pressure while maintaining an excellent bedside manner.

Hiring Process

Interested candidates should submit their application with a current Registered Nurse license in the state of employment. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, while Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
